Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded) JJWBGSP
Applications are now open for the Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship 2025. This fully funded opportunity is available for international students to pursue a Master’s degree at one of the participating universities located in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, or Japan. A total of 41 eligible Master’s programs are offered across 24 universities.
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have an unconditional admission offer from one of the participating JJ/WBGSP Master’s programs. Only candidates with confirmed admission will receive the scholarship application form. There is no fee to apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of a developing country that is a World Bank member.
- Citizenship: Dual citizenship with a developed country is not permitted.
- Health: Applicants must be in good physical health.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) must have been earned at least three years before the application deadline.
- Admission: Applicants must have received unconditional admission to a participating program by the scholarship application deadline.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of three years of full-time, paid, development-related work experience within the past six years is required. Part-time employment may also be considered.
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of a developing country that is a World Bank member.
