The Holland-Zuyd Excellence Scholarship (H-ZES) in the Netherlands is currently accepting applications. For students wishing to pursue further education in the Netherlands, the Holland-Zuyd Excellence Scholarship (H-ZES) presents a special opportunity. Combining two scholarships into one, this one offers a larger first-year scholarship sum than the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship.

A € 5,000 Holland Scholarship will be awarded to H-ZES recipients for their first year of study. To balance their study, they will be qualified for the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship, which can offer a maximum net tuition discount of €3600.

Students must maintain a minimum of 45 credits every academic year to continue receiving the H-ZES, and their progress will be reviewed annually. The scholarship's renewal is contingent upon the program's stated term.

Applications for the H-ZES are examined individually and are contingent on supply and demand; applications are given priority based on their order of receipt.     Application Requirements
    To be given consideration for the Holland-Zuyd Excellence Scholarship, candidates need to meet the requirements listed below:
    
    
    Nationality: Applicants cannot be citizens of the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Suriname.
    
    
    The Zuyd student number that applicants possess must have been obtained via Studielink.
    
    
    Particular Requirements: Candidates must fulfill the particular prerequisites for the academic program for which they are applying.
    
    
    Tuition: The highest institutional tuition fees must be paid by applicants.
    
    
    Residence: During their study term, applicants must live in the Netherlands.
    
    
    Previous Education: Candidates cannot hold a degree from a Dutch educational institution in the past. Candidates may still apply for the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship if this requirement is not satisfied; it only applies to the Holland Scholarship.
    
    

    Academic Progress: Applicants must not have cut short a Zuyd program without obtaining a degree.

This scholarship is awarded as a Zuyd Excellence Scholarship with a maximum net tuition discount of € 3600 for the remaining minimum term of study, and a Holland Scholarship of € 5000 for the first year of study.

Applicants who are not selected for the Holland – Zuyd Excellence Scholarship (H-ZES) will automatically be considered for the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship (ZES) after 1 June.
