The
general public is hereby informed that His Excellency, President Brigadier
(Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio, has announced 16 new appointments. These
appointments are expected to impact the national wage bill.
The
following individuals have been designated for ambassadorial positions:
- Alhaji Brima E. Koroma has been appointed as Ambassador-Designate to Algiers,
Algeria.
- Mr. Ibrahim Turay has been named Ambassador-Designate to Dakar, Senegal.
- Ms. Fatmata Sawaneh has been appointed Deputy Ambassador-Designate to
Conakry, Guinea.
- Ms. Princess Jah Turay has been named Deputy Ambassador-Designate to Berlin,
Germany.
- Ms. Asmaa James has been appointed Deputy Ambassador-Designate to
Brussels, Belgium.
- Mr. Luseni Kallon has been designated Deputy Ambassador to Monrovia,
Liberia.
In
addition to these diplomatic positions, several key roles in various national
authorities and organizations have been filled:
- Ms. Ama Gborie Foday has been appointed as Deputy Secretary General of the
Mano River Union.
- Ing. Andrew K. Keili has been named Chairman of the Electricity
Distribution and Supply Authority.
- Ing. Samuel J. Alpha has been appointed Chairman of the Electrical
Generation and Transmission Company.
- Mr. Kabineh Kallon has been designated Chairman of the National Revenue
Authority.
- Mr. Edward L. Williams has been appointed Chairman of the Sierra Leone Civil
Aviation Authority.
- Mr. Patrick J. Kaikai has been named Chairman of the Sierra Leone Airport
Authority.
- Mr. Stephen T. Garnett has been appointed Chairman of the National Protected
Area Authority.
- Mr. John Paul Kaisam has been designated Executive Director of the Sierra
Leone Standards Bureau.
- Mr. David Manley has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Felei
Tech City.
- Mr. Emmanuel Lansana has been named Deputy Executive Director of the Sierra
Leone Maritime Administration.
