Sierra Leone's Entertainment Ambassador, Kao Denero, has revealed an upcoming musical collaboration with his close rival, Boss LA, aimed at promoting and maintaining peace within the entertainment industry and the country as a whole.
The industry had recently advocated for the release of Boss LA, currently incarcerated at Pademba Road Prisons. Kao Denero shared that he had the opportunity to visit Boss LA in prison, leading to a fruitful discussion about a collaborative musical project titled "Peace," which will be produced by Lordmo.
In a message, Kao Denero stated, "I had the opportunity to visit my brother, LAJ, in prison, and it turned out to be a truly special and uplifting experience. During our time together, we had a meaningful chat covering a range of topics. We were granted permission to record a new song titled 'Peace,' produced by the talented Lordmo D. Goldenfingers, which will be released soon
The song, featuring
both Kao Denero and LAJ, not only reflects their perspectives but also
underscores the efforts of fellow entertainers and stakeholders advocating for
Boss LA's freedom. The message includes a sincere appeal to President Julius
Maada Bio for a pardon, expressing trust in his role as a listening president.
Anticipating the
release of "Peace," Kao Denero emphasized the transformative power of
music in creating positive change. He hopes the song resonates with listeners
and sparks a broader conversation about peace, love, unity, and the influential
role of creative art in society. Kudos were given to the Minister of
Information, C. Bah, in acknowledgment of the collaborative efforts.
